Stacy Bolen

Project Captain

Stacy Bolen joined Upward Architects in 2017 as a project captain and has over 16 years of experience in interior design and construction coordination of office, retail, restaurant, and religious projects.

Born and raised in Bemidji, Minnesota, Stacy took her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and moved to California in 2001 to work for Kriess Home Furnishings, a high-end furniture store, practicing interior design.

Stacy’s love for interior design overflows from her work to her home, as she always has a new project going on. Refurbishing and painting furniture are among her favorite hobbies.

Stacy believes that everyone is able to add value to a project. Guiding clients through the design process and pointing out potential safety issues, while delivering solutions to match their vision is what fulfills her.

Stacy has four dogs, three of which are pugs and one is a lab.
